In mid-summer this year, Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) welcomed the opening
ceremony of Gold Daio Hygiene Products Co., Ltd., a new member of Sinar Mas Group APP and the first joint venture between Sinar Mas Group APP and Daio of Japan. The new venture will produce and market high-end feminine care products under the brand of Elis.
At the opening ceremony on July 10, Mr. Jackson Wijaya, president of Gold Daio, announced in his address that leveraging its advanced production technologies and modern management, the company would produce high quality products meeting strict safety and health standards. The new company would stick to APP's business tenet of "Taking from the society, used for the society, contributing to the society, and serving the society," he added.
