FOEX pulp indices climb slightly

FOEX‘s northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) pulp index advanced $6.13/tonne to $855.82/tonne this week. The weakening of the dollar against the euro brought the euro-based bleached hardwood kraft pulp (BHK) index down by Euro 0.81/tonne to Euro 558.74/tonne, while the dollar-based BHK index increased by $1.75/tonne to $758.21/tonne.
Newsprint dropped by Euro 2.48/tonne to Euro 441.39/tonne, pushed down by the strengthening of the euro against the basket of non-EMU currencies. Lightweight coated (LWC) paper edged down by Euro 0.32/tonne to Euro 637.66/tonne and coated woodfree dipped by Euro 1.98/tonne to Euro 656.47 /tonne. Copy paper decreased by Euro 1.15/tonne to Euro 769.61/tonne.
Unbleached kraftliner inched down Euro 0.30/tonne to Euro 438.78/tonne, while white-top kraftliner rose by Euro 0.79/tonne to Euro 633.00 /tonne. Testliner 2 moved up Euro 2.06/tonne to Euro 350.25/tonne, and testliner 3 increased by Euro 3.14/tonne, reaching Euro 331.58/tonne. Recycled fluting went up by Euro 2.95/tonne to Euro 317.10/tonne.
OCC rose by Euro 0.55/tonne to Euro 93.43/tonne, and ONP/OMG advanced Euro 0.78/tonne to Euro 106.63/tonne.
